In 3M, we're learning about the water cycle! Can you believe that today, we're drinking the same water the dinosaurs did thousands of years ago?
The water cycle is a continuing process. It starts off when the sun heats up the ocean. Tiny droplets of water start to rise (also known as water vapour) and condense into clouds! These clouds then turn into storm clouds (cumulonimbus). The water droplets get so heavy in the clouds, it starts to rain (precipitation)! The water runs into rivers, lakes then back into the ocean and the process starts all over again!
